Commitment

Today I am under the weather. Most people would just call in and take it easy. There’s always tomorrow. When however you know that the people you serve, the small business owners are counting on you, that’s easier said then done!

That is our mind set at Second Wind. When the need to help is so overwhelming, it is amazing what barriers can be overcome. Each of us here at Second Wind has that passion! It is something that is not taught … it is engrained in your nature. “What can be done for our clients and potential clients today despite the obstacle!”

This morning after realizing it was a “no go” the next thought was what were my commitments today. There are clients counting on me. There are no days off for the small business owner being pummeled by our country’s economy. I am responsible for their business’s path to recovery! So as they say “I am sucking it up for the team!” You the entrepreneur are the captain of that team! I’m on injured reserve but I’ve got your back!

Thus that’s who we are. I’m home today with a cold but still attempting to make a positive difference on your business future. When you decide on who to be in the proverbial fox hole with remember that. Winners don’t make excuse … they stay focused and find a way!!

When the day is over sure I’ll be a bit worn. But the thrill of knowing I “conquered a minor obstacle” will more than make up for that. The welfare of our clients and potential clients came first! THAT is our mantra!
