The Legacy Of Steve Jobs
Steve Jobs taught us all how to be great leaders and innovators and showed us what reinvention was all about. He was never trapped by history and always willing to break through tradition and do it his way – differently, but better. He was fearless, willing to take enormous chances, and because he believed in himself and his people he always won, daring to lead the way were few have gone.
He came out with the first computer, a revolution of enormous magnitude that changed the way our world lives and works. He was determined to do it his way so he kept the operating system a secret and forced IBM and others to create their own with Microsoft and they opened it up to everyone and took 90% of the market despite being second in. Steve didn’t mind because he knew he had the better product and in the end his computer would prevail.
He then came out with a string of innovations, redefining the industry every step of the way, first with the iPod, and then with iTunes, revolutionizing the way music was distributed. Then, of course, came the iPhone which revolutionized the mobile phone. The iPad was another breakthrough revolutionary product. On it goes, one after another. Steve was fearless, innovative, bold and never feared taking risks and doing what he thought was right. That’s reinvention at its best.
Steve Jobs was the epitome of innovation, creativity and daring. He was a revolutionary, bold and victorious.
