Stop hiding from the issue, confront it and resolve it.

When I was a very little kid.  I watched a scary movie where a monster used closets at night as some sort of portal and would sneak into children’s rooms and eat them.  I should have listened to my parents and not watched the movies my older siblings were watching.

Every night I pulled my covers over my head and refused to look in the direction of the door.  I was sure that if I did not see the creature, it could not see or get to me.  It took a long time before I decided I was done hiding in my covers and got up to face the beast.  For three weeks I stayed up for hours, bleary-eyed, waiting for the confrontation sure to arise.  I was left unrewarded.  No beast ever emerged.  I grew up and realized it never would.  If the beast was real, however, hiding under the covers would not protect me.

With that adult knowledge, why do so many guarantors hide from the bank?  Why do they think that if they refuse to confront their problem the creditor will simply go away?  The rational escapes me how an adult can still think that if they do not “see” the threat they are safe.  You are not and will not be safe.  You are not an ostrich that sticks it’s head in the ground and hides.  Your creditors are not a fictional monster you are imagining.  Most of the time you did add the teeth and fangs, but even if you did not, your sheets will not stop the eventual bite.

Get help.  Address the issue and handle it.  You are losing revenue every month?  Do not know where to cut or how to escape the problems?  Call experts.  Let Second Wind turn the company around.  If your core business has failed and cannot be supported, let’s engage in a workout.  Let us handle the problem.  Putting your stuffed animals in front of the door to your business is not going to keep your business safe.  A workout could!

I believe you’re referring to Little Monsters. Starring Fred & Ben Savage & Howie Mandel. EXCELLENT movie.
