The Definition Of Insanity

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing you’ve always done and expecting a different result. We’ve all heard some variation of this statement.

So, I ask a simple question: Are the millions of small business owners around the country all insane? They must be, as it appears too few are willing to do something different. The world has changed, the economy has changed, the consumer has changed. We as business owners must change or we will get the same results.

Business owners ask me, “What is the secret? What different actions must we take to create the change we want?” These are great questions and the answers are available. I have put the system I call “The Four Pillars” out there in my blog, in my book, in radio interviews and in my business.

The Four Pillars:

1. Downsize

2. Reinvent

3. Internet Marketing

4. Debt Workout

How does one accomplish these tasks? How do you apply these principles to your business? Great questions, and very much the point. If you get on the track to ask these questions you are already beginning the process of creating change. You are beginning the process of defining what you and your business must do to get new results.

You cannot expect change to occur if you do the same things you have always done. Change is a NECESSITY to win in today’s market dynamics. The old way no longer applies. Usher in change and you can survive, emerge and be victorious.
