Women In Business, You Are Needed
A huge number of women are currently operating and opening new businesses every Clearly, it would be relatively difficult–near impossible–for me to imagine the issues and concerns that a woman in business confronts. How could I? I am obviously a man, with a man’s point of view.
It is also clear that navigating the downturn is an issue for any business, regardless of who owns it, as the issues are universal. Revenues are down and overhead is up. The market is smaller as more people cannot afford to spend on anything other than necessities. Debt can crush any business in such an environment.
I want to reach out to women in business to provide them the help and support they need to successfully navigate the downturn and to work out their overburdening debt. We can help women in small businesses who are confronting these issues, if only we can talk to them. Thus, I ask for help. I am looking for women in business who would like to blog about their experiences and offer advice and counsel to other women in business about how to successfully navigate the downturn. I need women to step up and take a leadership role, to help other women in business, to write in our Women In Business blog soon to come once we line up the authors.
Where will this take us? Who knows, but let’s try it… together. Write me, let’s talk. Let’s make a difference. There are women out there that are drowning and need a lifeline, we can throw it to them.
