Internet Marketing Is A Bigger Challenge Than I Thought For Many!
With the statistics making it sound like everyone is on the Internet and every business has a website and is doing social networking, one would think there is no need for me to offer up an affordable Internet package designed for the small business owner, one that covers all the bases and yields a favorable result and a new business opportunity.
But, my instincts were correct and apparently, based on the huge response I am getting, many, many small business owners are Internet literate but do not have their own website. They use the Internet but believe it is not for them, and even if they know they need one, they are so uncomfortable with this technology that they are unwilling to go there and spend the money on something they do not really understand. Thus, they simply avoid the issue and ignore the need and continue doing business as they have always done–the old school way–knowing they are missing out on something but not sure what it’s all about.
Then of course, there is the cost. Prices are all over the place and many business owners fear the sticker shock and feel unable to determine what they should be paying for and what they should be getting so they pass altogether not wanting to be made a fool, paying more than they should and getting less then they deserve.
After reading the website proposal in my blog post yesterday, the phones and my email lit up! I had hit a nerve. Apparently, my recommendation and the obvious skill and success my web guy has brought me gave many people a sense of comfort and confidence that allowed them to say, “OK, I will give Kenny at Five Rings Media a call. After all, if he did it for Don and Don is recommending him and the deal seems totally reasonable and hits all the right points, I can take a chance.” And so they are.
