Over 600,000 Businesses Closed In 2010 And It Didn’t Have To Be That Way

Why did so many businesses close? Many closed for acceptable reasons, most because they were forced to shut their doors. Decreasing revenues, choking debt… there was no way to change the facts, right? NOT SO! It did not have to be that way. There are viable alternatives.

You do not have to accept your debt commitments as fixed commitments that are irrevocable. This is just not the case. The banks would have you believing that to be the truth as it is to their advantage–many, many more small businesses are paying unaffordable debt service because they also believe there are no viable options. There are.

If we closely evaluate FDIC policy, banking policies, and SBA guaranteed loan policy, there is a plan to reduce debt, but unfortunately too few understand it, or know how to implement a debt reduction plan. So, they close their doors and suffer the consequences, usually forced to go into bankruptcy to alleviate impossible personal guaranties for the defaulted debt. There are choices and it is all about implementing a debt forgiveness strategy. Few are knowledgeable in designing and implementing this plan, fewer still are experts. It requires a skilled tactician with the experience to understand how to navigate these tricky waters. We do this every day of the week and we succeed all the time.

It is a shame, when I think of all the lost opportunity, smashed dreams, destroyed investments, lost savings, unaffordable remaining debt and lost jobs that needn’t have been sacrificed it pains me deeply. The loss is far too severe and the impact on so many people is so devastating… if only they knew it could have been avoided.

Call for an alternative strategy–and tell a friend–we are here saving families, one business at a time.
