BUSINESS MULLIGANS

For all of  you scratch golfers out there, the term “Mulligan” is a word used at  least once during a round of golf.  For you non – duffers it signifies a “Do Over”.   The reason’s a “Mulligan” is permitted by your playing partners are multiple. An abrupt noise blasted as you swung!  Someone moved in the middle of your swing!  A stiff wind took the ball out of bounds!  Or it was just a horrible stroke!  Now let me give you the real reason why your playing partner decides to be so gracious in allowing you that “Mulligan”!  He more than likely will need you to grant him a “Mulligan” later in the round.

Let’s connect a golfers “Mulligan” with what you, the small business owner, may be experiencing now.  You had a perfect swing. Your clubs were state of the art.  You were using the right iron for the distance you were trying to achieve.  Then out of no where lightning struck! The rain poured down!  You swung but the elements were too devastating!  On top of all of that you were in the middle of a fairway on the 13th hole and no cart to scurry you back to the club house.

Suddenly out of the blue there appeared the club pro … with a cart.  You climbed aboard with your partner and within minutes you were safe and secure in the club house.  After a brief period the storm passed and play was resumed.  The day had presented you with a “Mulligan” and the do – over was assisted by another entity … a professional.

That’s what we encounter every day of the year.  Business owners who need and deserve a “Mulligan”!   A “Do-Over”!   In your particular cicumstance – substitute  the  wind,  noise, and bad swing in the above scenario for whatever the cause of your financial business dilema is.  We have and will continue to be “THE PROFESSIONAL’S”  when it comes to allowing you to take that next perfect swing.  The cart has arrived!  The Pro is driving.  The club house awaits.  That feeling of  ”THE PERFECT SHOT … YOUR BUSINESS SAVED – AWAITS!”

But  YOU MUST ASK FOR HELP!   Mulligans in the real world must be asked for.  They are NOT  granted automatically!!
