250,000 Visits To Our Blog! We Are On A Mission, Saving Families One Business At A Time.

It happened this past weekend. No fanfare, no brass band, no round of applause, just a note of interest: Since its inception in March of 2007, we have received 250,000 visits to our blog!

This seems like a lot of visits to me, with the majority asking for help with their defaulting debt issues. Be it SBA guaranteed debt, secured bank loans, lines of credit, unsecured debt, credit card debt, vendor debt, leases, IRS debt… whatever form of debt our readers have questions about, we have provided them with guidance, specific answers to their questions and strategies for working out their debt with debt forgiveness being the objective. The remainder are reading our “Successfully Navigating the Downturn” articles, meant to help business owners adapt and emerge from this downturn successfully.

I am told over and over again that we are the best source for such information and that our blog is the best way to find out how to handle defaulting debt. That, and our willingness to provide anyone with a no-obligation consultation to discuss their issues. Remember, we offer to fly anyone into our offices, on us, to take advantage of a personal review of their situation.

We recognize that we are experts on such matters and have provided hundreds of small business owners with successful debt workout representation, every year. We further recognize that there are few relevant sources of information regarding debt workout strategies. We believe we have a responsibility to make our information and experience available to as many small business owners as possible so they can survive the difficult situation they find themselves in. I look at the 250,000 viewers and know that we have helped many, but my mind returns to the 1.5 million businesses that closed in 2009 and I lament that we could not help more survive.

We are constantly developing our non-profit division (Debt Relief Services Inc.) to assist those who cannot afford our fees and we willingly consult with disaster loan victims on how to best handle their loan default issues for disaster loans, another debt beast. We are frequently consulting with attorneys wanting guidance so they can help their clients, and with CPAs also asking for direction as so few know how to handle these issues. We are proud of our success, and we are delighted that so many turn to us for information, support and representation.

We wish we could solve everyone’s debt issues. We know what’s at risk. We understand the huge losses that result from a closed business and we march ahead on our mission to help families survive, one business at a time, all who reach out to us for help. We are on a mission and we have a vision. We are accomplishing our goal but there are still many casualties.

We will continue to write and post relevant information so many can survive and persevere, as many as possible, preserving their business opportunities, their incomes, their families and the jobs they support. This is our vision.
