Breaking the Bank
Workout strategy is not a cookie cutter routine that works for everyone. Second Wind designs a complete strategy for each and every client.
I just completed one workout for a client who has two loans remaining. The client and eye have not always seen eye to eye and he challenges the strategy as we go. This is a healthy thing, it makes sure I am at my best and ready for bankers to challenge the workout. That being said there is a certain point where it is no longer helpful.
Answering the client’s questions aids the workout and makes the client more comfortable, but when push comes to shove, the client has hired Second Wind for a reason. We are the experts and our results prove it.
This past client did his job, he inspected my process, but when it came to game time he took the strategy we laid down based on the fact we know what works. There were many times he was uncomfortable and doubted the veracity of our statements and even times where he thought about leaving the program. Had he given in to his emotions he would still owe approximately $3,000,000.
When it came time to move, we acted promptly and kept him informed, even when there was nothing to do but wait. He called and had many questions, but he did not try and walk away or block my strategy. As a result we were able to reduce his debt by 98%. That was not a typo, we truly broke the bank and our client only paid 2% of his note.
Follow the process, trust us, and most of all remove emotion. Help your strategy specialist understand every facet of your financial situation and then move aside and let him work. We are experts and with examples like a 98% reduction of major debt, there is a million reasons to listen.
