It’s Time to Adjust Your “To Do” List in a Major Way.

We all have our “To Do” lists, whether we make them daily or weekly, it is a common enough practice. They make sense and we all know it. It is the most basic way of controlling, prioritizing and organizing your personal productivity.

I have two very powerful suggestions to make your “To Do” list an extremely powerful tool:

1) Determine how much time each task should take to complete and add a time allotment to each item on the list. Now you have a complete program ready to support your time management and business success. If every task on your “To Do” list carries the allotment of time you believe it will require to complete (an hour, 20 minutes, etc.) you will have much greater time management success. A job can fill any amount of time you have to complete it unless you put a time constraint on it. Without one, it could take two hours or all day to do the task. Put a time limit on the job and it will likely take that amount of time.

2) Determine when in the week the task must be completed by. This next power tool is the “what by when”. Should the task be completed by Wednesday, Friday or today? Now you have the task, the allocated time for completion and the “when” it has to be completed by. It is a complete time controlling tool.

With this approach you will be far more successful, accomplished and powerful. This removes the stress and supports success. Life can be good again.
