Add a video to your blog or web site, talk personally to your market place..

I spoke about this a number of months ago when I discussed the need to not only have a web site but it must be a quality web site, well designed and delivering an effective message, pertinent information and driving the reader to call, write, or somehow communicate with you for the purpose of doing business.

Then I was suggesting the next best thing you should be considering was a blog which allowed for a transparent discussion between the readers and the blog writer. Very interesting and powerful.

Although an unofficial opinion, in my experience a video stream attached to the website, or blog is the next step to take and make your web site or blog a very potent tool, and a huge competitive advantage.

Here is what I have learned:

By filming the business owners and with an unscripted, although well thought out and planned, presentation, allowing the owner of the business to speak, gesture, and generally project honesty, credibility,integrity, commitment and possibly even passion. Allowing the business owner to make his pitch personally and directly.

It is far more interesting and powerful then reading a blog entry or a web site page. Its the next best thing to a live presentation…its a video of the owner speaking his mind from his heart and pitching his cause, product or service.

Think about it, you, talking to thousands of people who find your web site, telling them whatever you want to communicate to them. You get to tell your story better then anyone can and far more effective then a writen presentation, selling your product or service 24 hours per day 7 days per week.

You can keep it fresh as you can film yourself every week and attach it easily to your blog or web site so its a continuous discussion and a live presentation, a personal discussion with your potential clients. Wow.

Best of all, with a small investment in equipment, and a little instruction you can do this yourself for little cost.
